The social intervention scheme of the Federal Government, N-Power, has reportedly started payment of July stipend to Npower beneficiaries.
Naija News understands that the Federal Government commenced the payment of Npower July stipend to all the batch A and B Npower beneficiaries on Friday, a report filed by All News, quoted a graduate beneficiary of the scheme who uses UBA, Ademeso Temitope, to have confirmed the payment.
According to the report, Npower stipends payment for July by the Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari which commenced on Friday is still ongoing as at the time of filing this report.
The report also noted that other beneficiaries of the Federal Government intervention scheme, who claimed anonymity, confirmed that the Npower July stipend payment is being settled apart from the confirmation made by Temitope,
It was learned that roughly 300,000 graduate of Npower Batch B volunteers in the famed scheme, are the beneficiaries being paid by the Federal Government. The beneficiaries are being paid a monthly stipend of N30, 000 by the government.
Meanwhile, President Buhari’s administration prides the N-Power scheme as one of its major achievements, this is even as N-Health, N-Agro, N-Health and N-Tax were some of the components of the N-Power Programme. Of all, N-Teach is the most popular of all, with Nigerian youths posted to government-owned schools.
