Anambra Commissioner for Housing commends Arnold and Associates for their contributions to Housing Development in the State

The Anambra State Commissioner for Housing, Arc. Michael Okonkwo has commended the Arnold and Associates Construction and Real Estate Firm for their uncommon commitment to the provision of exquisite yet affordable housing for Ndi Anambra.

The Commissioner in the company of the CEO, Arnold and Associates, Mr. Arnold Ekweoba had on Monday toured the Brownwood Estate, one of the estates currently being developed by the firm in Awka.

Addressing members of staff of the firm, the Honourable Commissioner expressed delight at the level of development in the estate noting that Housing development in Anambra is a growing effort to close the gap between housing supply and demand through social housing initiatives and other public-private partnership ventures.

In his words, “What I saw here is superior work, starting from the planning out of how the place is going to look, to the implementation which is the actual construction to realize that vision. What I see here is nothing but Excellence. I just realized that you are one of the best-kept secrets in Awka. This is in tandem with the Governor’s charge to the Housing Commission with the provision of a minimum of 10,000 housing units per year in Anambra state”.

He reiterated the commitment of Governor Willie Obiano led administration in supporting Ndi Anambra with facilities for the ease of doing business in the state. ”

“The state government under Gov. Obiano created a secure and enabling environment to attract partnerships from the private sector like the Arnold and Associates”, Arc. Okonkwo added.

He further assured the firm of the Government’s continued support.

Addressing the Honourable Commissioner, Mr. Ekweoba averred that Arnold and Associates has remained resolute in bridging the dearth of housing in the state and South East Nigeria by extension. He assured of the continued contribution of the firm in providing luxury and affordable living for Ndi Anambra.
